South Tampa is known to many as the affluent epicenter of the city and is home to some of Tampa's most charming neighborhoods, best restaurants, boutique shopping, and top schools. A few highlights:
Historic Hyde Park
The centerpiece of Historic Hyde Park is Bayshore Boulevard, the world’s longest continuous sidewalk, spanning 6 miles from the Ballast Point Pier to downtown Tampa. About a half-mile from the bay is Hyde Park Village, a great mix of boutiques and restaurants including dog-friendly businesses.
Speaking of dog-friendly, Davis Islands features a popular dog park and beach where locals take their furry family members. The man-made Islands feature zero traffic lights and miles of paved paths for runners and cyclists with a lot of green space for outdoor activities.
